My name is Lara, friends call me Laar, and I’m a part-time artist based in the Netherlands and have a dog named Saartje 🐶 (Dutch for little Sara). I make illustrations and designs, often inspired by nature, architecture and simple everyday life, while experimenting with different media and styles. Colour is generally an important aspect in my work. It can brighten my mood just putting colour on paper. Drawing and designing help me relax and connect with my inner calm 🙂
